The Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission on May 21, 206, issued the second amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Tariff Determination from Renewable Energy Sources) Regulation, 2025.
The following has been stated:
Under the amendment, Clause 2(1)(z) of the Principal Regulation has been revised to define a “Renewable energy with storage project” as a combination of renewable energy projects with storage, or renewable hybrid energy projects with storage, connected at the same or different interconnection points.
Further, Clause 2(1) (aa) has been amended to define a “Renewable hybrid energy project” as a renewable energy project that generates electricity from a combination of renewable energy sources connected at the same or different interconnection points.
Clause 4(k) of the Principal Regulation has been substituted to clarify that a “Renewable energy with storage project” includes a renewable hybrid energy project that uses, either partly or fully, the renewable energy generated from such project for storage purposes in a storage facility connected at the same or different interconnection points as the renewable energy project.
It shall come into force immediately.
